We are all just people trying to find our own way. Let's take the shame out of mental health especially in aapi community. This shouldn't be taboo - let's talk about it

Look out for one another. Don't underestimate the power of offering to be there & listen. Don't be ashamed to ask for help if you don't know what to do @active_minds

If you're a true, honest friend, don't take mental health for granted. Don't write it off, Don't ignore the signs. Don't assume they'll "get over it" one day

There are good days, and then there are terrible, terrible heart aching days. Those are the days we need our friends the most, even when we say we don't need anyone

esp in aapi culture we ignore that mental illness is not a simple fix. You don't wake up one day and make yourself sad or "be better" and cure yourself with success

We aspire for greatness. We're unforgiving when we're anything less. But then we forget the toll our negativity & the negativity of others has on our spirit

I'm tired of hearing about young women in this industry who take their lives b/c they don't feel good enough, b/c they're told they're not good enough.. 당신은 있는 그대로 완벽해요~~
